Torrance T.

Dear Dr. Tran,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and attention you provided to my father during his recent visit to the UCLA Emergency Room.

Your professionalism, attentiveness, and compassion made a world of difference during what was a very stressful time for our family. From the moment you reviewed his medical records, it was evident how deeply you care about understanding every detail to ensure the best possible care. We were particularly impressed by how carefully you listened to our concerns, taking the time to explain the situation and the plan for his treatment in a way that was both clear and reassuring.

Starting the appropriate care so promptly was a testament to your expertise and commitment to patient well-being. Your ability to navigate a complex medical situation with such confidence and empathy provided us with a sense of relief and trust in your care.

Please know how much we appreciate everything you did for my father. It is doctors like you who remind us of the profound impact that skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals have on their patients and families.

Thank you again for your dedication and for going above and beyond. UCLA is incredibly fortunate to have someone like you on their team.

Xiao B W.

Hi Dr. Xiao Wang,
I am the mom of the 5 month old baby you admitted to the pediatrics unit from the ER on Saturday evening. I wanted to profusely thank you for your level of care with our son. Before you stopped by, we were ready to get discharged while clearly our son needed to be here (he's still on O2 but doing much better). As a mom of, 3 ranging from 5 years to 5 months, I have seen my fair share of doctors but none with your level of care for the opinion of the parents. Had it not been for you, our son could have turned out way worse last night so from the bottom, thank you!

TRAN N.

Tran was amazing during my spontaneous admission at L&D. She was so empathetic and compassionate during my time at RRUCLA. I felt that she really cared for my well-being, and I love that she was there from the beginning (my induction) to the end (the baby being delivered). My husband and I were both scared and nervous, but she made us feel safe the whole time. I felt so well cared for that it felt like we'd been best friends forever. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tran. My husband and I agree that if we ever try for a second one, you have to be part of the care team.

I would also like to thank the rest of the L&D team; Coral, Tasha, Dr. Van Fleet, Dr. Carreathers, Dr. Gould, Dr. Benitez, and Dr. Chen were all amazing. They were patient and kind and explained everything that was going on. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

Dr. Adam C.

Hello,

The Thanksgiving holiday is here and it is time to reflect upon the last year, be grateful for people in my life who have made a difference and be thankful to those who have supported me for the past year.

I personally want to thank the American Medical Board Association as well as UCLA upper management for having Dr. Adam Cavallero on staff as my physician. He is the most proactive and supportive physician I know. He sincerely listens to my concerns and helps to determine the best form of action to address my health and mental issues for me to be healthy to be the foundation for my family and in the workplace. He always goes above and beyond in the workplace and corresponds with me promptly and directly through the chat portal and sometimes even with a phone call.

Thank you UCLA for Dr. Cavallero and his professionalism as a physician who makes a difference in the community and makes a beneficial impact in society. Those who are able to work with him and have his support in the medical profession are blessed since he is a unique individual who epitomizes an exemplary doctor in the field of science and medicine. Often, we take for granted what we have in life and I want to take the time to be grateful for professionals like this doctor, at your facility.

Thank You for your time.

Kat

From the moment she opened the door and called my name, I knew I was in caring hands. There was an ease about her, a calm confidence that immediately put me at rest. With a clarity that suggested both professionalism and empathy, she guided me through each step: retrieving two gowns, positioning my limbs for each x-ray, explaining what would come next--all delivered with a light touch, both gentle and assured. Her tone was warm, upbeat, but never forced; her presence was a rare blend of competence with genuine caring.

She had a way of being engaged without being overbearing, a quiet sense of humor that didn't blur the focus. She was patient, and the upbeat positivity wasn't just directed toward me--it seemed to radiate outward, affecting the entire room. Her colleague, working alongside her, seemed to absorb the same steady grace, each of them operating in sync. It was obvious they were part of a well-rehearsed duet.

What hit me the most was the balance she struck between efficiency and warmth. There was no sense of haste, yet she moved with purpose. A seemingly simple procedure, one that could easily have felt clinical, instead felt like a quiet act of kindness. It's a rare thing to be treated with such thoughtfulness during what usually is a routine medical encounter, and I found myself wishing that every procedure could be met with the same welcoming smile and effervescent energy.

You have a jewel in her, and I'm grateful that "Kat" is part of our team. She made a difference. She made an impression. The care she offers is the kind of care that makes UCLA Health stand out as a place where people don't just receive treatment--they are treated with dignity and compassion. Thank you, Kat, for who you are, and to UCLA Health for sharing her with all of us!

Jeneva M.

At 22 weeks pregnant, my pregnancy was deemed high risk by my former OB. I am now 34 weeks and have been fighting with the health insurance company and my old doctor to get an authorizaion to see a high risk provider ever since. During those 12 weeks, I did not receive any medical care. It's been terrifying being high risk with no clue how the pregnancy is progressing, where I'll give birth, or if it's even safe for me to give birth naturally.

During this process, I have spoken with countless insurance representatives, people at doctor's offices, etc. in an attempt to get this authorization issue resolved, but it was not until I began to work with Jeneva that I actually felt heard or cared for. She called me with the good news that she was able to get my authorization approved. It took her two business days to do what my insurance company and prior doctor's office refused to do for three months. Thanks to Jeneva, I will be seeing a doctor not just soon, but tomorrow and next week.

I am so grateful for everything that Jeneva did for me and my unborn daughter. Because of the whole insurance and authorization battle, I have had a very stressful pregnancy and have been dreading birth for all of the normal reasons, but also because of this horrible unknown that I was facing. Thanks to Jeneva's help, I can finally relax for these last six weeks with the knowledge that I have a doctor, a hospital, and a plan.

Anderson R.

Hi. I am a patient at Santa Monica ucla I would like to compliment ANDERSON For his efforts in his job not only to clean my room but to be a major part of my healing. I truly believe laughter is the best medicine, also music lol. Andersen job to clean, but he put a smile on my face, laughter in my soul even in my darkest hours. He took the time, shared, and cared even though he didn't have to. After cardiac surgery in late June and recovery through August, I was fortunate to be given an eight-week stint in Cariac Rehab at three hours per week from September to mid-November. I am writing to compliment and thank Lauren Greene and the staff at the Rehab facility for the excellent and attentive care I received. In those eight weeks, I gained four pounds in muscle mass and lost two pounds in body fat. This is very encouraging. Thank you Ms. Greene and thank you UCLA.
